Rainbows is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children and teens grieve and grow after loss. In the past three decades, Rainbows has served over 2.7 million youth.
Rainbows’ programs are a proven force to help grieving children. This year, more than 40 million children in the United States will be tragically affected by a death, divorce, or other painful transition in their family. We want to grow and reach as many of these 40 million as possible. The Rainbows’ programs help children by:
•Building confidence and self-esteem
•Improving communication in their families and peer relationships
•Preventing destructive behaviors such as involvement with gangs, alcohol
and drug abuse
•Increasing school attendance and academic performance
While millions of grieving children have a real need, so does Rainbows. I come to you with a great sense of urgency, and ask for your help. Without donors, Rainbows cannot help so many children and their families.
Today, Rainbows is at a crossroads. We have begun to expand and grow the organization and significantly increase our reach, efficiency and impact with the implementation of ground-breaking initiatives which will allow Rainbows to serve more children. We cannot move forward without your financial support. I humbly ask you for your help.
Rainbows is asking you to donate $100 to our cause and help us achieve our goal of reaching 40 million children.
Thank you for helping Rainbows sustain, grow and thrive for the sake of helping grieving children. I look forward to reaching our goals together. You never know whose children will someday need us.
